Welcome graphic image with a picture of Toni

Toni Allen recently joined the Anglin PR team and we are thrilled to have her on board. With 12 years of experience helping community organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs execute effective marketing and public relations strategies, she will be an incredible asset to Anglin PR’s clients and their missions.

We asked her a few questions to get to know her better and found out that among other things, she’ll be a wonderful addition to the contingent of Anglin’s voracious readers! Read on to get to know Toni better.

What are some of your hobbies?

I am very close to my family and, fortunately, we have similar hobbies!

  • My daughter and I play video games and like to cook together.

  • My mom, sisters and I spend time together shopping, traveling and going out to eat. We all love to read and share book recommendations often.

  • My brother and I love to shop and share our favorite finds. He and I are obsessed with nice watches.

  • My dad and I like to cook…mostly because we like to eat. We share recipes and pictures of our plates.

  • My stepdad and I like to go to the gun range. Someone jokingly called me a sharpshooter once, and he beamed with pride.

  • My sis-in-law and I bond over our love/hate relationship with our Pelotons. My brother-in-laws both like when I annoy them. (I am their only baby sister, afterall.)

What are you reading/listening to/watching right now?

I am currently re-reading my favorite book, Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult, and listening to Lofi Girl on repeat.

Favorite piece of artwork?

My daughter Ariyah is my favorite artist. I am currently loving the self portrait she created while studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago this summer. It’s an oil painting on canvas and has already sold!

Favorite quote?

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. – Gandhi
