Q&A with Rachel Hulse:
What books, TV shows or movies do you like, and why? I love to read. I do not necessarily have a favorite author, but I do love to read biographies describing a person’s extraordinary life and how they overcame unbelievable events. I have two teenagers at home in Advanced English classes, so lately I am reading books before or after their assignments. Recently I read, “A Long Walk to Water” by Linda Sue Park, and “A Long Way Home” by Ismael Beah about children forced into war in Sierra Leone. Besides reading, I am an avid HGTV watcher. I love improving my living space. Recently I white-washed my brick fireplace, painted my living room and stained new cedar beams for the inside and outside of my home. After a long stressful day, HGTV centers me! How do you spend your time when you’re not helping clients? In my spare time I enjoy spending time at our cabin on Flint Creek with my family. Flint Creek is the main tributary that runs into the Illinois River. I also enjoy watching my children in competitive sports. My daughter is in her ninth season of competitive cheer, and my son plays high school baseball. Usually on weekends, I am at a cheer competition, at a ball game, or at the river!
What’s your favorite thing about working at Anglin PR so far? I love working at Anglin PR because it has an interesting “group feedback” approach. Everyone shares and comments on each other’s work before something is released. It is all positive and constructive and the goal is just to improve everyone while putting forth the best products for our clients. I love it!
