Loyalty Marketing = Influencer Marketing

Influencer marketing is a term tossed around a lot among brands and businesses, but what does it mean exactly?

What is an influencer?

An influencer is a person who works with a brand to promote its products or services. The influencer typically makes brand mentions and endorsements through digital channels to help improve brand recognition. Influencers gain trust for the brand with their followers. In return, the brand compensates influencers with a direct payment or with gifted products or services.

Why should a brand work with influencers?

Influencers have an established reputation with their followers. There is a sense of loyalty and trust that normally takes brands a lot of time to foster. When an influencer shares a service or product, their followers are more inclined to produce an action - pay for a service or purchase a product - based on that influencer's recommendation.

Recent example of influencer marketing at Anglin PR

Anglin PR recently leveraged five Oklahoma influencers with its “Buck Up & Vote” influencer campaign to garner traction for the 2022 League of Women Voters Oklahoma Voting Guide. The League of Women Voters of Oklahoma wanted to reach individuals 18 to 40 in Oklahoma to raise awareness for their non-partisan 2022 League of Women Voters Oklahoma Voting Guide. Anglin PR connected LWVOK with appropriate influencers and asked influencers to fulfill the brief. The contracted influencers shared the voter guide in an Instagram reel and on Instagram stories with their followers.

By leveraging these influencers and reaching their unique audiences, LWVOK organically reached nearly 20,000 individuals across our targeted audience on Instagram.

The League of Women Voters of Oklahoma “Buck Up & Vote” influencer campaign was a success.
