EMBARK tasked Anglin PR with research and a campaign to increase ridership. Our research showed negative perceptions about public transit, particularly those who had never ridden the bus. We created the "Different People, Different Reasons" campaign to highlight why people take the bus and to reduce misperceptions about riders. We used real riders for authenticity.
Anglin PR has helped EMBARK announce and promote bus, bike, streetcar and parking services to raise awareness, reach new audiences and increase use of the Oklahoma City transit system. Since Anglin PR was hired to promote EMBARK services, the system has increased ridership. In 2015 EMBARK had nearly a 9% increase in ridership from the previous year - one of the highest increases in the country.
