Q&A with Account Coordinator, Danielle Williams
What’s your favorite thing about working at Anglin PR so far? I have already learned so much at Anglin! My colleagues are resourceful, and I get to spend time each day digging into all the fascinating parts of different industries. I really enjoy writing, thinking though strategy, having variety in my daily tasks and I prefer to work closely with as a team, so Anglin PR has checked every box! The staff here works very collaboratively, sharing their communications strategy expertise and helping spark creativity in one another. I really admire that.
What do you do in your spare time? I like to cook. It’s a lot of fun to work through a new recipe a few times so I can tweak it until I figure out what works best. I’m (slowly but surely) recording the best versions of my favorite recipes. Right now, I’m spending a lot of time wedding planning and preparing for family events. I got engaged this spring and we are getting married at the end of this summer! Aside from all that, you can catch me at the pool once or twice a week swimming laps.
What are your favorite things to read, listen to or watch? I love David Sedaris’ books or short stories when I want to read something funny. I like to pick up magazines, too, and I normally go for The Atlantic, Bon Appetit or other cooking-related magazines to search for new recipes. I cycle through a lot of new music so it’s hard to pick favorites but right now I am listening to Andrew Bird’s new album, My Finest Work Yet, Michael Kiwanuka, and an artist I recently discovered on vacation in Spain, Manu Chao. I’m a sucker for a good murder mystery-type show, and I finally started watching Big Little Lies (I love it!).
