Debbie Anglin founded Anglin Public Relations in 1999 with a desire to provide “Pure PR.” Her vision in creating a firm focused on public relations was to offer organizations with interests in Oklahoma with the caliber of pr services usually only found in larger cities. The firm specializes in providing comprehensive public relations for business, government and non-profit interests. Anglin Public Relations encourages and helps clients integrate research, planning, implementation and evaluation in every communication program and offers creative, cost-effective mediums to communicate with target audiences in ways that build meaningful relationships.

Debbie has served in a variety of public relations capacities in corporate, non-profit and agency settings.

Prior to establishing Anglin Public Relations, she served as an account executive at an advertising agency where she planned and executed statewide public relations, advertising and community-relations campaigns.

In 1995 while at the American Red Cross, Debbie saw first hand the tragedy of the Oklahoma City Bombing and she reported the Red Cross response efforts to local, national and international media. Those media-relations experiences and knowledge translated into more than 300 national speaking and training engagements in the two years following.

At Sports & Recreation, Debbie planned, budgeted and executed grassroots public relations initiatives to build the reputation of the sporting goods chain, increase the client base and enhance the retailer’s relationship with sports enthusiasts and athletes.

She earned her BA in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 1993 and earned her APR designation in 2001 by passing the national public relations accreditation test through Public Relations Society of America.

Her commitments extend beyond her office. Debbie served in several roles on the Board of Directors for the Association for Women in Communications including President in 2001-02. She is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City Class XXIII and a member of Rotary Chapter 29, Public Relations Society of America, the Stakeholder committee for Central Oklahoma Turning Point, the Steering Committee to open the Oklahoma History Museum and the Junior League of Oklahoma City.

Debbie received the 40 Under 40 award from OKC Business in 2003 and the Journal Record’s Achievers Under 40 in 2004. She has received several local, regional and national awards for her marketing/communication planning and implementation including PRSA Upper Case Awards, IABC Black Gold Awards, AWC Clarion Award, a National Apex Writing Award and a National Apex Logo Award.
